There isn’t any downtime from a standalone Rejuvafirm PDO Mono Thread treatment. After treatment you may experience some swelling and/or bruising that will disappear over the next 3-7 days. We recommend treatments of LED prior to your PDO Threads appointment to assist in minimising potential bruising.

They are made from PDO (polydiaxanone) Material which has been used in surgery as a suture material for over 30 years. These threads are placed in the superficial subcutaneous dermal layer of the skin. They support the formation of new collagen and helps support skin firmness and elasticity. MINT MONO threads are completely absorbed by the body in about 3-4 months after treatment.

Potential Risks and Complications

There are a number of possible side effects associated with MINT MONO. These side effects include but are not limited to:
